Sudah beberapa hari gak ngeblog soalnya kemaren-kemaren preparing mau perform di acara Galuh ngaguruh. Nah sekarang sayah mau share tugas sayah pas disekolah bikin percakapan diskusi bahasa inggris 2 orang tentang kesehatan. Dan sebelumnya sayah juga posting sejenis, (bisa dilihat disini)

Husni : Hai, how are you?
Galih : I’m Fine, and you?
Husni : I’m fine too. Do you know? Now, many of our friends are sick.
Galih : Yes, i know from Adit, What do you think about health?
Husni : I think health is important
Galih : Why did you answer it?
Husni : Because, without health, we can’t do activity, are you agree?
Galih : Yes, I agree with you. But some people can still do activity while sick
Husni : Can you tell me the Example?
Galih : Yes I can. People infected with HIV can still do activity altough in control
Husni : So, what’s the meaning of Health?
Galih : Health is Good life style, for example consuming halal food, exercising, maintaining cleanliness.
Husni : What’s the example of damage our health?
Galih : Example, Consuming Alcohol, Drugs, Doing Free Sex, and smoking. Are you agree with me?
Husni : Yes I agree with you, but smoking not so harmful. Because according to research, smoking can extend our life.
Galih : That’s HOAX! I not agree with you. Smoking only can damage our body and drain our pocket! Why smoking not harmful?
Husni : Because my grand father still healthy until now. Why do you not believe me?
Galih : Maybe he always save his healty altough he always smoking. Where are you get the hoax information?
Husni : I just only assumed, hehe sorry my friend.
Galih : Oh My God. And, how to be a long age man like your grand father?
Husni : Just only save your healthy from disease, and to be a vegetarian.

(Anda Ingin Daging Seperti Apa?)

Farida makan diluar bersama temannya. Dia memesan daging panggang dan pelayan ingin tahu daging panggang seperti apa?

Waitress : Are you ready to order now?

(Apa anda sudah siap memesan sekarang?)

Farida : Yes. I’ll have some salad, roast beef, and mashed potatoes.

(Saya ingin selada, daging panggang dan kentang tumbuk)

Waitress : How do you want your beef? Rare, medium, atau well-done?

(Anda ingin daging seperi apa? agak mentah, setengah matang  )

Farida : Well-done. And Easy on salt, please.

(Matang. Garam sedikit saja, ya)

Waitress : Sure. Anything to drink ?

(Tentu. Minumannya apa?)

Farida : Iced Tea, Please. And Easy on the Ice

(Es The saja, dan sedikit esnya)

Percakapan Seputar Cuaca (Weather)

Oh, The Heat Is Unbearable !!

(Oh, Panasnya Minta Ampun!!)

Hari itu panas sekali, situasi tambah buruk ketika AC nya rusak.

Malik : Oh, the heat is unbearable ! Didn’t you turn on the Air-Conditioner?

(Panasnya Minta ampun! Apa kamu sudah menyalakan AC-nya?)

Sony : The heat has blown our air-conditioner on the roof.

Panasnya telah membuat AC-kita rusak.

Malik : What the…! So, what are we going to do?

(Apa! lalu apa yang harus kita lakukan?

Sony : We’ve got to have it fixed as soon as possible. I’ve called someone and they‘re on the way

(Kita harus menyuruh orang untuk memperbaikinya sesegera mungkin, saya sudah menelepon seseorang dan mereka sedang dalam perjalanan)

Malik : Thank God!

(Syukurlah)

Percakapan Seputar Pekerjaan (Work)

I’m Overwhelmed With a Heavy Workload

(Pekerjaan ku benar-benar menumpuk dan Berat Sekali)

Dery mengeluh pada teman baiknya Tedi bahwa pekerjaannya benar-benar menumpuk.

Tedy : Dery, Don’t you think you should take a vacation? Even one  or two day would be fine.

(Dery bukan kah kamu perlu berlibur? Satu atau dua hari akan bagus bagi mu)

Dery : There’s no way. There’s too much work.

(Tidak ada kesempatan, terlalu banyak perkejaan)

Tedi : But you look so exhausted. You need break.

(Tapi kamu kelihatan lelah. Kamu perlu istirahat)

Dery : I know. My chance would be better if they would hire more people.

(Aku tahu, aku akan dapat kesempatan berlibur jika perusahaan merekrut lebih banyak orang)

Tedi : They wont hire more people?

(Mereka tidak akan merekrut banyak orang lagi?)

Dery: No. They always want to keep the cost down. I am really overwhelmed with heavy workload.

(Tidak, mereka selalu berusaha menghemat biaya,sehingga pekerjaan ku benar-benar menumpuk dan berat sekali)

Tedi :  Maybe you should talk to the manager.

(Mungkin kamu harus berbicara sama manager)

Dery :  Yes, I’m going to bring this up in tomorrow’s meeting.

(Ya, aku akan membicarakannya hal ini dalam rapat besok)

Percakapan Seputar Waktu (Time)

She’s behind the times!

(Dia Ketinggalan Zaman!)

Yuli : Her dress looks funny

Daniel : I wouldn’t say tha. It looks fine to me

Yuli : Are you kidding me. She’s behind the times. That style went out last year.

(Yang benar saja. Dia ketinggalan zaman sekali. Model itu kan model tahun lalu)

Daniel :  Oh, come on. As long as it looks good on her.

(Ayolah, sepanjang ia kelihatan bagus ok-ok saja kan)

Yuli : Wow, you are really as out-date as she is

(Waw, kamu juga ketinggalan zaman sekali sama seperti dia)

Daniel : You’re darn right. I’m out style. So what? What’s the point of keeping yourself  on style?

Memang benar. Aku katinggalan zaman . Lantas mau apa? apa perlunya selalu mengikuti selalu mengikuti perkembangan model baju.

Yuli : No wonder. You never buy me new dress.

(Pantas, kamu tidak pernah membelikan saya baju baru)
